Mission & Vision Statement
Why Go Vegan in a free vegan educational CIC dedicated to promoting veganism, animal rights and the benefits of plant-based lifestyles. Why Go Vegan focuses on the ethics, morals and values of veganism and answers the question why we should consider going vegan. Our 30 day online vegan challenge provides these answers in short accessible and uplifting format, available free across the globe; our free to attend plant-based food fests introduce people to the benefits of this lifestyle, and our website promotes the broader UK vegan community, events, markets, social groups and gatherings.
One day all animals will be free from the shackles of commodification and use. Until that day we will strive diligently to achieve our vision, shared by millions across the globe.
Why Go Vegan is a Community Interest Company registered in the UK (Company Number 16167798). As a CIC our finances are both regulated and asset locked, ensuring any profits go back into the community (in this case the UK vegan community).

UK Regional Vegan Community, supporting & promoting regional events, social groups and markets by encouraging new attendees, participation and engagement, and providing free accessible tools for education around veganism and plant-based diets, with regional marketing campaigns to promote our resources

UK National Vegan Community, supporting and promoting groups with shared interests and goals, providing free educational resources available nationally, with national marketing campaigns to promote our resources

Broader UK public – providing educational tools to help communities improve health through wholefood plant based diets and address climate change by encouraging low emission diets and locally grown food, whilst promoting an ethical vegan position and animal rights philosophy.
Activities and Related Benefit

Promote veganism and benefits of plant-based lifestyles by providing free educational resources. These will benefit the community by assisting in the spread of knowledge around the vegan philosophy and benefits of plant based lifestyles, with the goal of the company being to increase the number of vegans in the UK, increase the number of people eating a wholefood plant based diet and increase the understanding and relevance of these issues to the public. In turn this benefits people, environment and animals.

Support the UK regional and national UK vegan communities. These will benefit by the access to free educational resources to help them further their own shared goals, along with support and promotion for existing social groups, campaign groups, educational groups, vegan festivals and events
