In 2024, Charlotte was the first vegan to reach the quarter finals of
MasterChef UK.
Following her stint on MasterChef, Charlotte worked as a chef at one of
Copenhagen’s highest rated restaurants (Bistro Lupa), By Word of Mouth in the UK
(Royal Family and high profile events caterers) and most recently, at Gauthier Soho,
Charlotte now works part-time at Plates, the UK’s first and only Michelin-starred
plant-based restaurant. She also runs supper clubs, classes and pop ups and
retreats and volunteers with Animal Aid to do school talks and cooking classes
across the UK. Charlotte is also the guest chef/expert on Gaby Roslin’s BBC show
Previously, Charlotte spent 10 years in the hospitality industry working on high-end, luxury events around the
world, followed by 10 years in corporate, holding senior roles in strategy, communications, procurement, and
leading global large-scale tech programmes for FTSE 100 companies. She is also a qualified
psychotherapist in private practice and volunteers with Hounslow Youth Counselling Service.
Charlotte is on a mission to show that plant-based food can be just as indulgent, rich and delicious as the
alternative. And, with a certification in nutrition from Harvard Medical School, she is always exploring ways to
do this which also benefit our bodies and general health. She loves to collaborate with brands to develop
creative and inspiring ways to drive this purpose too.
