Dr Laila Kassam is a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Project Phoenix, an organisation building the power of the UK Animal Freedom movement into an unstoppable force for change. She is a Co-Founder and former Director of Animal Think Tank, and co-editor of ‘Rethinking Food and Agriculture: New Ways Forward’. Laila previously worked in international development for 15 years and has a PhD in Development Economics.
